Job Description
Prommac is looking for a skilled Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls Estimator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical, instrumentation, and controls projects.
The role involves reviewing drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to determine labour, material, subcontractor, and project costs. You will work closely with suppliers, subcontractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure estimates are accurate and aligned with project requirements.
The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years’ estimating experience within a construction company, supported by a National Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate E&I and controls cost estimates
• Review project drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
• Gather pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
• Liaise with clients and internal project teams
• Identify project risks and cost-saving opportunities
• Maintain estimating records and cost databases
• Support tender preparation and project planning
